There are no known cures for colds and flu, so cold and flu prevention should be your goal. A proactive approach to warding off colds and flu is apt to make your whole life healthier. The most effective way for preventing the flu is to get the flu shot. It may not be natural, but it works better than anything else. But there are other strategies you can employ as well.
Some commons sense tips to staying healthy this winter:
1) Wash your hands with antibacterial soap throughout the day as needed.
2) Refrain from touching your face with your hands throughout the day (nose, mouth, and ears) since your hands have undoubtedly been in contact with multiple objects contaminated by germs.
3) Use natural peroxide to clean the door knobs, sink fixtures, etc. that you frequent... heck, carry a small bottle with you for use in public rest rooms.
4) Orally administer 100% raw honey and distilled white vinegar 4 times a day during flu season... especially before laying down for a nap or going to bed for the evening.
Do the above while maintaining a healthy diet full of nutrients, proteins, and vitamins while exercising at your normal rate daily. Following this simple regimen and putting into practice these precautionary measures will bring your chances of catching the common cold very rare. Bodies are created with a strong immune system to ward off harmful substances from growing in our body.
